Hi, This is a 40′ Blue Bird bus that is John Deere CNG powered. I took out the seats and cut some walls, mounted the quick recover hot water heater and designed a great plan for a perfect use of CNG. Fact is, you can have this sit for 100 years and the gas never goes bad. Gasoline, diesel, not so much. Further, this is a conversion of a diesel motor to low compression CNG, so it will last a long time without problems. year 2002, 104,K miles, runs great. Goes like 400 miles on a fill-up. Drove from LA, no issues. Passes inspections, no issues. Plenty of power, but only goes like 65. No wrecks, no real damage other than a couple scratches. Glass all good.
As a bonus, I have already purchased all the water/sewage tanks (heated), doors, trim (from fancy wrecked MH), toilet, shower, burner, skylights, vanity, you name it, it’s likely there. I have spent thousands on getting this ready, but my wife wants a nicer MH, so it’s for sale. You would need a bed, couches/chairs and cabinets and kitchen items (except stove), but it’s all laid out and planned for everything to fit just right.
I only find one other CNG bus, with none of the conversion parts that I have, and they want $14,000, same year and more miles. This is a good deal for what it is and an easy project already designed, but can be changed to fit your needs.
